Ingredients Required

Crumb’s Oreos Mix
Water
Oreos
Vegetable Oil
Chocolate/Maple Syrup for toppings (if required)

Let’s Start Preparing Deep-Fried Oreos From Scratch

Primary Level: Heat the Oil

Take a heavy-bottomed pan or a skillet and add 3-4 cups of vegetable oil and preheat it to about 350 degrees over medium heat. Use a thermometer to check the temperature.

Secondary Level: Whisk together the Ingredients

Make a smooth batter by mixing Crumbs Oreos mix and water. Avoid making it too thin. Keep it aside for at least 10-15 mins. The quantity of batter depends upon the quantity of fried Oreos you want. If you are just doing it for yourself, a small bowl will work too for mixing and whisking.

Tertiary Level: Deep-Frying the Oreos

Start dipping the Oreos one after the other in the batter with a help of a fork and put it straight to the pan. Let them fry for a minute or two until both sides turn a little brown. Make sure to not jam the batter coated Oreos in the pan to avoid sticking. Once you see the crispy brown balls swimming on the top of the oil, just pull them out on a paper towel. Complete the look by sprinkling powdered sugar and chocolate syrup. Serve them warm.
